Using StockTicker.net
Type a symbol — for example AAPL, MSFT, SPY, or BTCUSD — into the search bar above to load that ticker. Each ticker view bundles an interactive price chart, a quote, key statistics, a technical-analysis gauge, a company profile, headlines, and a market-overview panel on one screen. If a symbol trades on several markets, add the exchange prefix (for example NASDAQ:AAPL, NYSE:BRK.B or LSE:VOD). Press / anywhere on the page to jump to the search box.
Not sure what a ticker symbol is, or why some end in .B, Y or F? Start with what is a stock ticker. To decode the numbers around a symbol — bid, ask, day range, volume, P/E, EPS, market cap — see how to read a stock quote and the key financial ratios explainer. The chart itself is covered in how to read a stock chart and common technical indicators explained.
All market data on the site comes from embedded TradingView widgets. StockTicker.net does not run its own price feed, and a quote may be real-time or delayed depending on the symbol and exchange — see real-time vs. delayed market data, tick data explained and stock market hours for why prices can look different from one site to the next.
Looking up an ETF like SPY or QQQ instead of a single company? The same ticker view works, but the numbers behind it mean different things — see stocks vs. ETFs. Curious where the word “ticker” comes from? Read the history of the stock ticker. All guides are listed on the guides page.
StockTicker.net is a free reference. It does not place trades, does not store accounts, and does not publish buy/sell recommendations. Read the Disclaimer before acting on anything you see here, and the About page for editorial details.
Frequently asked questions
Is the data on StockTicker.net real-time?
Charts and quotes come from embedded TradingView widgets. Depending on the exchange and symbol, prices may be real-time or delayed (often by 15 minutes or more). The site does not run its own price feed. For trading decisions, use your broker’s live quote. More in real-time vs. delayed data.
How do I look up a stock ticker?
Type a symbol such as AAPL, MSFT, SPY or BTCUSD into the search box and press Search. The page reloads with a chart, quote, fundamentals, technical summary and news for that symbol. You can also add an exchange prefix, for example NASDAQ:AAPL or LSE:VOD, when a symbol exists on more than one market.
What is a stock ticker?
A stock ticker (ticker symbol) is a short code of letters or numbers that identifies a listed security on an exchange, such as AAPL for Apple on Nasdaq. The name comes from the ticker-tape machines that printed trades with a ticking sound from the 1860s onwards. See what is a stock ticker.
Does StockTicker.net give buy or sell recommendations?
No. The site is an informational viewer and an educational resource. The technical-analysis gauge is an automated summary of indicators produced by TradingView, not advice.
